Privacy policy

Penn Valley Paws is operated by Emelie Cambeiro in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania. For privacy questions, use emelie@pennvalleypaws.com or (610) 636-4132.

When you use the site, you may give us:

• Name, email, and phone number
• Your dog’s name, breed, age, temperament, and care notes
• The stay type, dates, and add-ons you are asking about
• Messages you type into the contact or booking forms
• An email address if you join the newsletter

We do not require an account to request a stay. Host sign-in (Google or X) is only for Emelie, so she can read the inbox.

We do not ask for payment-card numbers on this site. We do not publish your street address, and we do not publish ours until a meet and greet is arranged. We do not sell mailing lists.

We use the information you send to:

• Reply to booking and contact requests
• Plan a meet and greet and the stay itself
• Remember feeding, medicine, and household notes you asked us to follow
• Send newsletter notes if you subscribed
• Keep a record of who was in the house, for the safety of Violet and other guests

Emelie reads requests. Members of the household may see what they need to care for your dog. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

We may share what is necessary with a veterinarian in an emergency, or if the law requires it. The site is hosted by our web provider; they process data only to keep the site running.

Public pages do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If Emelie signs in to the host inbox, the site stores a session so she stays signed in. That cookie is for the operator, not for visitors requesting a stay.

We sometimes photograph dogs during a stay and may use those pictures on the gallery or elsewhere on this site. If you would rather we did not, say so at the meet and greet or in your booking notes — we will keep those photos off the public pages.

We do not identify owners by full name next to a photo unless you ask us to.

Booking and care notes are kept for as long as they are useful for future stays and household records, then deleted or stored only as needed. Newsletter addresses are kept until you ask to be removed. You can request a copy or a deletion by emailing emelie@pennvalleypaws.com.

This website is for adults arranging care for their dogs. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the forms.

Email emelie@pennvalleypaws.com to correct a record, unsubscribe from notes, or ask us to delete a request you no longer want on file. Unsubscribing does not cancel a booked stay — write or call for that.

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after that date means the new policy applies to later requests.
